Plenty of places will tell you the jobs number came out. The useful part is knowing it is due at 7:30, what the desk expects, and what it printed last time — while there is still time to do something about it.

Graded, not just listed

Every release on the daily calendar carries a Low, Medium or High impact rating, so a genuine market mover is easy to tell apart from a number nobody trades.

Every session, not just ours

Releases out of the euro area, the UK, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and China sit alongside the US ones, all converted to Central time so you are not doing the arithmetic at four in the morning.

Forecast beside previous

The consensus estimate and the last print are printed together, because the gap between them is what tends to move the price rather than the number on its own.
