Global Asset Report

A world of investments. Updated daily in one place.

It’s hard to find a concise view of where global markets are moving. The Global Asset Scoreboard ranks more than 100 markets — equities, US sectors, fixed income, currencies, crypto and commodities — month to date and year to date, in USD terms. One page, every trading day. No forecast, no house view, no reason to read between the lines.

Free, and you do not need an account with us to receive it.

See what you’re missing

One page delivers the whole world

One page. Two tables — month to date on top, year to date underneath — each split into six boards and ranked best to worst. Read it in the time it takes to decide whether anything on it deserves a second look.

There is no letter at the front and no summary at the back. If a market is up, it is near the top. If it is down, it is near the bottom. What that means for you is your call to make.

  • Every figure in USD terms, so the boards are actually comparable
  • Two horizons side by side, because they frequently disagree
  • Updated daily in month to date and year to date time frames
The Global Asset Scoreboard for August 5, 2026, showing ranked month-to-date and year-to-date returns across six asset boards.
Issue of August 5, 2026 Shown in full, at the size it was published. Figures are historical and specific to that date.

Figures shown are taken from the issue of August 5, 2026 and describe third-party indices and exchange-traded proxies sourced from iShares, CME Group and Tradestation. They are not a record of accounts traded by BTR Trading Group, and nothing on the list is a recommendation to buy or sell. Diversification does not assure a profit or protect against loss in declining markets. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Futures trading is complex and carries the risk of substantial losses. It is not suitable for all investors and you should not rely on any of the information herein as a substitute for the exercise of your own skill and judgment in making a decision on the appropriateness of such investments.

What is on the board

Six boards, one page

Most market summaries cover the handful of things that made the news. This one covers the same list every day, whether it was interesting or not.

Asset Roundup

The cross-asset view of major assets on one list. US, international, emerging and Japanese equities sit next to Treasurys, credit, gold, crude, the dollar, bitcoin and managed futures.

Global Equities

Twenty-four country and regional markets, from Korea and Taiwan through Europe to Brazil, Turkey and Hong Kong. All converted to USD, so the ranking is not an artifact of the currency.

US Sectors

The eleven sectors plus banks, biotechnology and volatility. Enough detail to tell whether an index move was broad or whether one sector did all the work.

Fixed Income

Treasurys by maturity, TIPS, munis, mortgages and the credit stack from investment grade down to CCC, with emerging market sovereign and corporate alongside.

FX & Crypto

The dollar against the majors and a run of emerging market crosses, ranked in the same table as bitcoin, ether and four other large digital assets.

Commodities

Energy, metals, grains, softs and livestock. Twenty-four contracts, including orange juice, lumber and feeder cattle — the ones most summaries quietly drop.
