Questions
What managers ask first
What do I need to hand over?
The executable strategy and the parameters it runs on. You do not have to disclose the logic inside it, and plenty of managers do not. If it runs on a supported platform, that is usually enough.
Which platforms can you host?
The platforms listed on our trading platforms page, plus direct API and FIX connectivity for anything custom. If you are running something unusual, ask — the architecture is built to accommodate rather than to standardize.
What happens during an outage?
The desk sees it and acts. Depending on the situation that means restoring the connection, bringing up a fail-over, or managing the open position by hand until the strategy is back. You get told what happened rather than discovering it in a statement.
What does hosting cost?
For most strategies you pay for the orders executed rather than for the server. Programs with heavy workloads or additional data feeds are quoted individually. The full schedule sits in your account documents.
Can I host for multiple client accounts?
Yes. Block execution and allocation across managed accounts is a normal setup here, and is one of the main reasons CTAs move their execution to us.
